Themes & Notes
- Inspired by the film, "Everything Everywhere All At Once" and Tao Te Ching.
(My initial idea when forming the playlist)
" I want this playlist to be freedom from improvement. Death of the old. I want this playlist to be chaos and order all at the same time–almost schizophrenic, but perfectly in tune with everything."

Today's Thoughts
(Written in February 2023)
I always think my Fall playlists are schizophrenic in nature which makes them my most colorful playlists.
Fall possesses an interesting space. It's the transition period between summer and winter. Therefore the playlist(s) possess both high and lower-sounding tracks.
Fall 2022 was the height of my "disjointedness." I felt extreme anxiety about Nothing during this time. It felt like I was "falling" into something.
In philosophy, it's called "The Dark Night of The Soul." But what it's called doesn't matter as much as what I felt.
I was feeling everything and nothing. I was simultaneously drowning in my thoughts or completely detached from them.
During this time, I even had to stop reading books for a while because "Knowledge" or "Truth" became too overwhelming.
It's as if I enthusiastically took the red pill from the film, The Matrix and "immediately regretted it" as my cousin eloquently put it.
I almost wanted to go back to who/what I once was before "knowing"...but I couldn’t. Once you see, you can't unsee. I had to go all the way.
Right or wrong aside, the saying is true..." The only way out is through."
"Further."
