Themes & Notes
- The playlist name/description was inspired by Galileo's quote when he was forced to recant his heliocentric claim.
"Eppur si muove..." meaning "Still it moves..." - I like to view things as sculptures. Once you remove all that is not needed, all that remains is truth and art—hence, the title.
- This playlist was formed shortly after writing "Bounded by Detachment." So that post definitely had an influence over this playlist.
- My summer playlists are usually upbeat while my winter playlists are usually lower-sounding and jazzy. But I wanted to switch it up this year. I wanted to bring the upbeatness of summer into winter without losing the magic of winter.

Today's Thoughts
(Written in February 2023)
It's funny. When I make playlists, I understand their meanings only after creating them.
In 2022, I felt "off". It's hard to explain in words, but the words that immediately appear to me are "disjointed" and "not here." For most of the year, I didn't understand why.
But after exploring, experiencing, and having everything culminate soundly at the end of the year, I feel I finally understand.
In that Understanding, I finally came home.
"In the midst of winter, I found there was, within me, an invincible summer."
- Albert Camus
