Themes & Notes
Theme:
This playlist is essentially a love letter to myself. It’s a playlist I wish someone gave me last year.
The feeling I was aiming for is no matter how alone you feel, there are always good people around you. So there is no good reason to feel lonely.
Photo:
I chose a ski resort as the photo. Sometimes on a chair-lift, you go up the mountain alone. It's quiet and lonely for a little bit.
But when you reach the top, like-minded people will be up there with you, doing the same thing as you. Just living It.
Name:
Meaning 1: Pretty description of the winter season
Meaning 2: Flurries: Confusion/stumbling of something. Moonlight: Moths follow moonlight because that is their true north.
We are all stumbling on trying to live in the best way we know how.
Flurries = Struggle.
Moonlight = Life Purpose, our true north.
The description was inspired by Childish Gambino's short film, "Chicken and Futility".

Screenplay
ACT I
"Love You Too Much" by Lucky Daye – "No Good" by dvsn
- The first act sums up my previous relationship's final moments. Hurting and loving each other and finally letting go.
ACT II
"Goodbye" by Tei Shi – "Still Your Best" by Giveon
- An upbeat sound for the conflicting feelings I had about letting go.
- Songs sound very winter to me. Sharp cold air in the daytime. Warm vibes in the nighttime.
- The acoustic songs are very winter to me. It reminds me of this YouTuber who would play guitar in the snow with his dog. I wanted to capture that energy with this section.
- I like the piano from Hypnotized, Chicago Freestyle, and By Any Means. They seem to flow very nicely to the ears being back to back. They sound a little creepy and sharp at the same time, similar to a winter night.
ACT III
"For Us" by dvsn – "What About Love" by BANKS
- This entire section is about the idea of hope. I have usually been doing that with my playlists lately, ending on a high note.
- I deliberately end the song with BANKS (right after Chet Faker since I ship them). Her song struggles with love. However, it sounds very hopeful at the same time.
- "What About Love" ends with a whimsical note and this is where "Love You Too Much" begins.

Summary
This playlist is a love letter to what I felt last year. I “lost” a loved one, only to find love again. This is just one big playlist about Love.
It starts with Love (Love You Too Much) as the problem and it ends with Love as the solution (What About Love).
Love for others, Love from others, and Love for and from one’s self.
"The three most important things to have are faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of them is love."
